Welcome to another Music 'N' Masti as we take a look at the top 10 songs that have made their mark in Bollywood this week.
Film: Sadiyaan
Singers: Adnan Sami, Sunidhi Chauhan
Adnan Sami is always a good choice when dealing with romantic songs. Taron Bhari has beautiful lyrics and a soft tune which makes this song a good listen.
9. Sajda
Film: My Name Is Khan
Singers: Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Shankar Mahadevan, Richa Sharma
Music: Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy
Sajda is pushed back in favour of newer, upbeat tracks. However the intoxicating rhythm, memorable lyrics and quality voices woven through the composition mean that we simply don't want to let go!
Film: Karthik Calling Karthik
Singers: Alyssa Mendonsa, Shankar Mahadevan
Music: Ehsaan Loy, Punditz
Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's quirky composition remains in the running! Alyssa Mendonsa's wispy vocals coupled with the funky beat are just what you need to get your feet moving!
6. Oh Mere Khuda
Film: Prince
Singers: Atif Aslam, Garima Jhingon
Music: Sachin Gupta
Easy come, easy go! Oh Mere Khuda is knocked of ts number. 1 position but manages to remain in the coveted top 10. Despite the uninspiring lyrics, Atif Aslam and Garima Jhingon do a commendable job as does Gupta's music.
5. Dekho Raste Mein
Film: Hum Tum Aur Ghost
Singers: KK, Shreya Ghoshal
Music: Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy
Hum Tum Aur Ghost finally makes an entry in to the charts! With a team compiled of KK, Ghoshal, Javed Akhtar and Shankar-Ehsan-Loy, we get the wonderful composition we expected. Dekho Raste Mein the song is as sweet as it's video. Whatever the outcome of the movie, we hope this one sticks around on the charts.
4. O Saawarein
Film: Lahore
Singers: MM Kareem
Another chart climber! MM Kareem does a wonderful job as the soothing singer whilst the music is as light, and the lyrics as peaceful, as they should be.
Film: Love Sex Aur Dokha
Singers: Kailash Kher
Music: Sneha Khanwalker Lyrics: Debakar Banerjee
LSD is something a little more ... risque than the audience is used to. However the composition is interesting and has become a popular hit with the crowd. A must listen!
2. Bekarar
Film: Paathshaal
Singers: Lucky Ali
Music: Hanif Sheikh
Lucky Ali makes a comeback and how! Sheikh does a great job as both the lyricist, and the man behind the music. Lucky Ali is of course in top form and Bekarar is this week's favourite new entry!
Film: Housefull
Singers: Loy Mendonca, Tarun Sagar, Alyssa Mendonca
Music: Shankar-Ehsan-Loy
As a track from an Akshay Kumar movie, funky beats and interesting lyrics are something you'd expect. Oh Girl You're Mine does not disappoint! We love the lyrics, we love the music and we love the wispy vocals!
