No Reviews for Sajid

While most directors and actors anxiously await critics' reviews on their movies, Housefull director Sajid Khan has refused to read any for his latest movie. Sajid, whose next film will not be a comedy, had avowed himself to a mannat before the release of Housefull. Why, though?

At a recent awards show, Sajid composed a song where he satirized critics, going so far as to name them on stage. He insists he has nothing against critics, but he deduced there and then by some inexplicable philosophy of his own, that he does not deserve to read any reviews for his films.

He has even forbidden his cast and crew to read out reviews to him! When a very excited Akshay Kumar called Sajid up and tried to read out passages from a review, director Sajid, we're told, actually screamed just to drown out the review!

It certainly takes a great deal of determination to abstain from reading reviews of one's own film. You're one man to managing the feat Sajid!
