The #MeToo movement had brought a storm in Bollywood like never before. Although now it has mellowed down a bit, it has made the good change and now female celebrities do not step back from sharing their horrific stories.
Recently, male actors like Nana Patekar, and other big names of Bollywood like
Sajid Khan, Alok Nath,
Vikas Bahl among others fell prey to this movement.
Now, at a recent talk show by Rajeev Masand,
Ranveer Singh was asked about his opinion on the #MeToo movement.
He said, "The first few days when it exploded, I thought it was historical. I thought it was surreal. I couldn't believe it happened and it led to a purge. A much much needed purge. Those who have done these despicable things for too long, were taken to task. I think it is super, because I can tell you that at the ground level that there has been change."

"'Ab mardon ki fatti hai'. They will think twice. Because the power of social media offers a platform to get justice. Yes, there is collateral damage, but this is what happens when there is a revolution. And I think it is a mind blowing", he added.
On the work front, the actor is busy promoting his upcoming film '
Simmba' opposite
