The past week has been rather eventful in B-town with numerous screenings, launches and press meets. Fashion Police was also present at some of these events and it was impossible not to observe our Tinsel Town stars and conclude if they were following trends or setting them.
We start with the King of Bollywood who was seen donning a formal look at the success party of his record smashing latest release, Chennai Express. Though dressed in black from top-to-toe, SRK has taken care to use two different shades of the colour, so as to break the monotony and not look mismatched. We would've preferred lesser use of gel on the hair but with his charming personality, he managed to carry off his outfit and impress us.

Dressed in a suave gray suit, a crisp white shirt, a black tie and black shoes, there is hardly any flaw we can point out about how
Anil Kapoor looked at the trailer launch of his magnum opus
24, an Indian adaptation of an international TV series of the same name. Those shades just add the cherry to top of the cake. Now this is how you carry a "Spotlight on me!" look! Well done, Anil Sir!

Like father, daughter
Sonam Kapoor left no stone unturned in pumping up the style quotient at the trailer launch of her Daddy's television debut. She fabulously carried off the Victoria Beckham military style dress with hair done in a sleek bun. She chose to accessorize herself with a black Prada clutch and gold earrings, and those black Oxford booties perfectly completed her look.

John Abraham was seen wearing a tee and cargo pants at the special screening of his latest release,
Madras Cafe. Though there is nothing wrong with the outfit as such, we can't help noticing how tired he looks, not surprising owing to the back-to-back promotional events he had to attend as an actor and as producer. Those
chappals, however, could have been replaced by some other footwear.

Leading lady of
Madras Cafe,
Nargis Fakhri was seen in a cool, chic outfit at the same screening of the movie. She wore a white tee with black print, cool blue jeans and black, wedged boots. With her hair pulled back in a ponytail, she looked smart and casual at the same time.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stunned one and all at the launch of Lodha Group's new project, 'The Park', where she has been roped in as the brand ambassador. Dressed in a gorgeous one-shoulder, floor sweeping, couture black gown, the former Miss World looked drop-dead gorgeous! Hair done in thick, luscious waves, make-up kept light with those enviable smoky eyes and completed with her radiant smile, try as we may, we just cannot find one fault.
