Yesterday,
Shah Rukh Khan took to the most unconventional way to promote his upcoming film '
Raees'.
The superstar took to the train journey from Mumbai to Delhi to meet his fans en route and also spread a word about his film.
But, little did he know that his creative idea would backfire on him.
Yesterday, when his train reached Baroda station, a huge crowd gathered around to welcome him. The crowd went berserk and were not allowing his train to move ahead. That's when the police officials had to come over and interfere. They were forced to do lathi charge over the crowd to take them off the tracks. This action led to stamped and many people were injured.
Out of the many, three men were injured severely and had to be rushed to the hospital for treatment. Sadly, one man who was also the uncle of the journalist who was traveling with Shah Rukh to Delhi, lost his life when he came to meet her at the station.
The deceased has been identified as Farid Khan. He was the former President of Samajwadi Party and also a counselor.
Further investigations on the man who lost his life reveal that he passed away due to Cardiac arrest and not because of the crowd at the station.
