Moms should be indestructible by design: SRK (Movie Snippets)

New Delhi, Nov 24 (IANS) Shah Rukh Khan's friend's mother passed away Thursday and the superstar is not only upset after hearing the news, he says he suddenly started missing his own mom who died two decades ago.

'My friends mom expired today...feeling so sad...miss my own suddenly. Moms should be indestructible by design besides being cuddly...,' the 46-year-old posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Shah Rukh's mom, Lateef Fatima Khan, died in the year 1991 and he says that she supported him a lot while he was struggling to become an actor.

Big B considers family over health

Amitabh Bachchan, who is going through health problems, is advised by doctors to take rest but the megastar says connecting with family is always a relief.

'The doctors now advise me against late nights and exertion. But connecting to family can never be termed as an exertion. In fact it has always been a relief. A fountain of peace and fresh water at the end of a saharaisc intense day,' the 69-year-old posted on his blog Bigb.bigadda.com.

Shreya learns to rock

Her melodious classic numbers 'Bairi Piya' and 'Dheere Jalna' helped Shreya Ghoshal in carving a niche for herself, but now she wants to learn rock music to connect with her friends.

'My knowledge in rock music is zero. So I have started educating myself for my friends who don't understand any other music,' the 27-year-old posted on mirco-blogging site Twitter.

The singer received awards for 'Bairi Piya' ('Devdas'), 'Dheere Jalna' ('Paheli') and 'Noor-e-Khuda' ('My Name Is Khan').
