Amitabh Bachchan" src="http://www.india-forums.com/bollywood/images/uploads/bigb_revolver_1.jpg" vspace="5" align="right" border="" hspace="5">Many times we have seen Big B pulling out his revolver on screen. This time he has pulled it out again, but not on screen. For the first time he pulled it out to defend himself and to have a safe sleep.
“Last night, as the events of the terror attack unfolded in front of me I did something for the first time and one that I had hoped never ever to be in a situation to do. Before retiring for the night, I pulled out my licensed .32 revolver, loaded it and put it under my pillow. For a very disturbed sleep,” Mr. Bachchan wrote on his blog. “My pain has been the sight and plight of my innocent and vulnerable and completely insecure countrymen, facing the wrath of this terror attack. And my anger has been at the ineptitude of the authorities that have been ordained to look after us,” Big B expressed in his blog.
He further says, “I can only but salute them and respect their sincerity in the call of duty.” Bachchan was disgruntled over the cliche “spirit of Mumbai” which he said people were using to cover the traumatic experiences that the merry city underwent in recent years.

this world has gone to hell
I heard about this on hindi news
I live across the seven seas from Mumbai, and from watching and hearing it unfold on Star News. I couldnt sleep, the images and thoughts of what if kept racing through my mind, just hoping that it would be ok. Living in the UK im proud to be Indian, but I can understand what and how AB feels.
oh gosh. what''s happening these days....just can''t believe it!
i totally 100% agree with Big B that the seriousness of the situation and the horrific trauma are being covered by expressions such as ''the spirit of Mumabi'' - i doubt if there is any left by now.
thats how i felt when on 9/11.. (i live in usa not india) it really freaks u out.these attacks...
If Amitabh Bacchan who probably has a licenced GUN closed circuit cameras , guards outside his home is so insecure.
I can imagine what is going on with the common man living on the street?
Its a sad day for Mumbai and India..where lives are cheap all thanks to our corrupt politicians.
Mumbai is getting beaten up all the time and that is a fact.
thanks .... but this is something new.
