Can Kat Pull Off a Hema...oops, Geeta?!

The diva of B-town, Katrina Kaif, continues to remain overwhelmed at having bagging the much coveted role of 'Geeta', in Dibakar Banerjee's remake of the widely loved classic Seeta Aur Geeta. 

Katrina finds herself extremely privileged to be a part of this movie which is gearing up for the making. The young lady is said to be super excited to don the character of 'Geeta', as the role demands Kat to perform some very daring stunts, while living up to the legend of Hema Malini, who showed her side of daredevil in the original, what with throwing knives and climbing ceiling fans.

Katrina, who has been studying the depth and portrayal of the character by Hemaji, remains fascinated at the older actress's confident and smooth moves as the gypsy street performer. We hear, a huge part of her anticipation revolves around impatiently awaiting the chance to juggles with knives once the shoot of the film begins.

Hema Malini, who maintains that the role was not an easy one as it required the actor to always maintain high energy levels, and to remain fit and healthy throughout the film to perform all the stunts and running around smoothly, believes that Kat shall do justice to the character in this remake.
