Meet Mrs. Mahesh Bhupathi!

You heard it right, Lara Dutta is now officially Mrs. Mahesh Bhupathi! The actress wed tennis ace Mahesh Bhupathi on Wednesday, 16^th February in a quiet civil ceremony at the latter's Bandra home. The ceremony was attended by the bride's and groom's parents and close family members.

For the occasion, Lara donned a cream and gold coloured sari by designer Ritu Kumar while Mahesh was in a formal gray suit with a white shirt. Both the bride and groom looked simple but classy.

An hour before the wedding, Mahesh tweeted that there would be no media during the civil ceremony and he would post pictures of the marriage on his profile, which he did after the ceremony was over.

After the civil ceremony, the couple flew to Goa to join friends and begin the celebrations. An insider reveals that the sangeet is to take place on Thursday, 17th February, and that it will be   followed by a Victorian-style Christian wedding on Friday and a reception to be held at the Taj Aguada. Sources also hint at a grand reception in Mumbai on the Sunday after, so stay tuned for more buzz and pictures from this exciting event.
