Ash's company was Travolta's wish

New Delhi, Oct 1 (IANS) Hollywood star John Travolta seemed to be bowled over by Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai while he was in Mumbai for an award function last week.

Not only did he request the organisers to seat him close to Aishwarya and her actor-husband Abhishek Bachchan, but he was quite insistent that the former beauty queen should present him the award, said a source.

Travolta, who featured in popular films 'Saturday Night Fever', 'Grease' and 'Pulp Fiction', was here with his daughter Ella for the GQ Man of the Year awards.

As per his request, he was presented the GQ Legend of the Year award by Aishwarya Sunday night and was even seated with the actress and her husband.

Travolta, who was dressed in a black formal dinner jacket with a bow tie, presented the Icon of the Year award to actor-producer Aamir Khan.

The actor is still in India for a month-long vacation. He has planned a visit to places like Jaipur and Goa.

No romantic movie with Bebo: Ranbir

Ranbir Kapoor says he would love to work with his cousin sister Kareena Kapoor on screen, but never in a romantic movie.

Asked if he has been offered any film, he said: 'Nothing has been offered to me. I don't think people in the right senses would offer me a romantic movie with Bebo (Kareena's pet name). But yes, if there's a movie on cousins, I would love to act with her.'

In the past, Kareena too has shown keen interest in working with Ranbir.

Ranbir says he would have loved to work with Madhuri Dixit, but 'unfortunately she retired'.

'I also haven't worked with so many actresses like Genelia and even Sonakshi. I want to work with all of them,' he added.

Ashmit Patel wants a body a la Salman Khan

Actor Ashmit Patel, who is set to bounce back into Bollywood, is concentrating on pumping iron these days for a toned body like Salman Khan.

'I want to build a body like Salman Khan,' said Ashmit, who is sticking to a strict diet and regular workout to build a good physique. 'I've managed a good deal till now, but have a long way to go,' he said.

He will soon be releasing a song he has sung.
