Howdy, BC readers!

Here's something new coming from our creatives team. A comparative article that shall present premise for drawing comparisons between two actors (actresses, at a time). A list of points will hereby be presented where the lives and careers, and even appearances of the chosen two have stark similarities!

For this week, its Karishma Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

And here's drawing up the comparison charts!

1. For four months, Karishma Kapoor was officially engaged to actor Abhishek Bachchan; the same junior Bachchan is now loving hubby to Aishwarya, while Karishma herself is married to industrialist Sanjay and mother of two.

2. Both Karishma and Aishwarya have had two publicly confessed love affairs, that were unpleasant failures, before each lady eventually committed herself to a formal wedlock - for Karishma the men have been actors Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan; for Aish it was Salman Khan first, followed by Vivek Oberoi.

3. They are both light eyed/blue eyed girls of tinsel town.

4. In terms of facial appearance, they are both extremely fair skinned, with oval faces, and hair that continue to look a similar shade despite the multiple times of employing various coloring schemes!

5. Both Karishma and Aishwarya have remained beauty brand LUX's brand ambassadors

6. And finally, both Karishma and Aishwarya, so far, have won themselves two Filmfare Best Actress Awards each. While for Karishma it has been Raja Hindustani and Fiza, for Aishwarya the movies were Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Devdas.

i don't agree with both be 'fair skinned' part!!!
both the kapoor girls are fair i mean very fair unlike Ash who is fair but compared to karishma's skin tone it wud be dark. Check out ash old movies with karishmas you will see the difference!!
for me Karishma will be the most beautiful woman on earth even after having two kids she is just the same and even maintains the same lean figure.
Ash on the otherhand keeps putting on / off pounds....creating news in media as for an 'baby pump'!!

acting wise i think Karishma was better for me but no1 can beat karishma when it comes to dancing (Western styles)

what i hate abt Ash is the same for Freida both put on a fake accent and try to show they are westernized!

@Mahika24: I wouldn't have felt the need to portray my opinions if others hadn't began to compare both actresses on the basis of looks and acting.

Similarly, as others are calling Aish fake and what not, I'm also displaying my thoughts of Karishma as well. So before pin-pointing solely on my opinion, I suggest you take other comments into consideration as well.
