An unforgettable extravaganza and a fun filled evening is coming your way with the biggest and most talented celebrities of Bollywood being a part of Nokia 15th Annual STAR Screen Awards 2009. Touted as the most prestigious awards ceremony of the year, the Red Carpet is decked up to welcome the biggest names from the film fraternity who come to witness the grandest awards night.

Hosted by Farah Khan, Sajid Khan and Shreyas Talpade, the Nokia 15th Annual STAR Screen Awards 2009 will reward the best films and talents in 29 categories. Taking the female power a notch higher, the sizzling Divas - Katrina, Priyanka, Deepika and Anushka – come on stage together for the very first time and mesmerize one and all with their breathtaking moves in the 'Divas' 'act.

Adding the male punch to this act is style icon Arjun Rampal, who takes the centre stage with the leading Bollywood beauties. Viewers will also be privy to the infamous Ashutosh Gowarikar-Sajid spat which took the film industry by storm, Akshay Kumar returning his award and hilarious spoofs by Sajid and Shreyas.

just checked all the winners, quite dissapointing, JA best film- certainy not
best comedian- tushar, i really dont think so, i dunno how they like the nuissance comedy,
best supporting both - rock on??? are they thinking right? the movie wasnt that good!!!
best debut or promising actor should''ve gone to imran khan!!!!!!!!!!
best story- a wednesday, was it really??? a person sitting on the terrace and planning bombs all over the country is that really a good story???

i guess these are the worst awards ever!!!! all the wrong people got the awards, so unfair, i guess rock on, JA, and a wednesday had paid them to get the awards!!!!!

rnbdj WASNT NOMINATED THATS SAD!!!!!! truely akshay def didnt r=deserve an award for SIK. Im a SRK fan but i think Aamir deserved the award! havent watched the awards as yet, so no comments on sajid, but seriously i''ve never liked his cheap jokes since ikke pe ikke days like 6 - 7 years ago, always hated it!!!!!! priyanka was really good so well deserving! who got the best movie award???

THE BULL SHIT AWARDS!!!!!!.......RNBDJ......def. sud have been nominated, everything is so wierd, to all saying that Ghajni sud have one and Aamir sud have one best Actor.....TATS ALL RUBBISH!!!....Hritik and JA sud have one all b/c that movie was not remix of anything and Akbar was portrayed with excellence. Aamir atleast had idea of how to act by watchign th esouth Indian version.......on the other side Hrithik was awesome. and i completely agree with Pryanka for winning, although Ash wasn''t that bad

Sajid goes overboard and then thinks he has the right to do so....he says this is wat viewers want....such demeaning thing to say for indian viewers....do we enjoy such cheap and dirty jokes

yup award ceremonies have become a big joke!. i agree jodha, ghajini, jane tu jane na , wednesday, sajjanpur were some of the best movies run commercialy well too.

i was dissapointed too when aamir did not get the award! and akshay the true gentle men he is did not accept it. oh i am now 100% sure why i like him :)

what ashutosh said was so uncool but correct to. as somebody rightlypointed out he never makes joke of SRK or karan. then why others and i too am sick of them wearing dresses like woman and making joke. i just wonder how ladies (heroines and others in the function) take it lightly. agree with somebodies comment that sajid and farah are just so movies old and they were not classic too so why make fun of thers. at least in girls category i thought they gave it to priyanka who deserves for fashion no great movie but she has acted well :)

SRK no true sportman did not turn up for function too as he was sure he wont win! not at all cool
though i like SRK, aamir and akshay and say it in single breath. i really did not like the function at all and i do seriously hope that people work to bring back the award function the much needed respect

Sajid''s n Ashutosh''s incident was unfortunate, but i totally agree with Ashutosh.

Humor to certain extent is good...ppl enjoy that. but when it crosses certain limits it sounds rather obscene(especially those Dostana jokes..sickening!)

Sajid should learn his lesson... Farah n Sajid are so arrogant. (sajid is just one film old...tat too it was just a routine masala movie..so, in wat way he can comment about others?)
Interestingly they never joke about their friends like SRK, Karan Johar, etc etc.

And the way Sajid started the show with jokes on Aamir khan is making me angry... doesn''t he have any respect what so ever towards his seniors? Shame on him !

Oh I forgot to mention, I loved what Akshay did. Giving his award away to Aamir was an honest and humble move. I salute you for that buddy! It was perhaps the only award you recieved for in many years and still you had the courage to give it away :) I agree with him he has given the industry better performances than the one he won the award for and his work was ignored then and now when he is not the deserving out of the nominations he wins! I hope in the future you get an award that you truely deserve :) I know it will happen!
