About  Hum Tum Pe Marte Hain  (1999)


The film is a Romeo and Juliet redo between Rahul (Govinda) and Radhika (Urmila Matondkar) across the barrier of family antagonism. Their families are neighbours living in these two big houses. Rahul's a close-knit idyllic one with father (Paresh Rawal), mother (Himani Shivpuri), servant (Johny Lever) and a mad dog. Radhika's, a business house headed by the stern sister-in-law Devyani (Dimple Kapadia) who resents Rahul's family for what she claims as unlawful seizure of her property. She fixes Radhika's marriage with her business partner Dhananjay (Nirmal Pandey). The film is about true love surmounting all barriers.
