Jasbir Jassi popularly known as 'Jassi' is a name synonymous with Bhangra and Punjabi music. He is one of the biggest stars in Punjabi music today. He has studied classical vocal music and his first pop album; 'Dil le gayi' became an instant hit and rage in almost all discotheques. Jassi gave an impetus to Punjabi music and made it one of the most popular genres of music to be adopted in discotheques all over India.
