Did Mira Rajput Kapoor get FAMOUS because of husband Shahid Kapoor?

Mira Rajput Kapoor recently graced an award show and at the red carpet she was asked about fame and whether she considers herself lucky to have received fame because of husband Shahid Kapoor.

"I think fame is largely to do with destiny. Today also I am here because of him as he is shooting for Batti Gul Meter Chalu in Dehradun," said Mira.

Recently, there were stories making rounds that Mira was ignored by the people at the Hello Hall of Fame Awards because this time she wasn't accompanied by her dear hubby Shahid. She had been to the function to receive an award on behalf of Shahid, as he was out of town shooting for his upcoming film 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' where he will be seen opposite Shraddha Kapoor.

A source from the event revealed to DNA, "Mira was quietly sitting on one table. She had gone to collect the award on behalf of her hubby. Shahid couldn't be there since he's stationed in Tehri for his next film. Nobody even walked up to her and exchanged the customary hellos, except a few. The funny thing is some of them were those who had attended Shahid's birthday party last year."

However, despite all the rumors, Mira has now become paparazzi's favorite. The star-wife has been making various public appearances and where ever she goes, the camera follows!

Be it dropping daughter Misha Kapoor to her play school or hitting the gym, Mira is always all smiles and poses happily for the cameras.
