Newcomer Suriya has a tough task ahead of him if he wishes to make a mark with his debut in the competitive Bollywood circle!
The actor has completed shoots for Ram Gopal Verma's Raktha Charithra, slated to be released with two parts each in Hindi and Tamil, while the Telegu version shall be a single part movie.
Raktha Charithra-1, featuring
Vivek Oberoi in a major role will release on October 22nd whilst
Raktha Charithra-2
has been confirmed to air on November 19th (along with the respective
Tamil versions) where the audience are expected to see Suriya step into
the main lead.
However, the chance to easy success being a solitary major
release that weekend were completely disrupted when Sanjay Leela
Bhansali announced his decision to release the much awaited
Aishwarya-Hrithik flick,
Guzaarish, on November 19th as well!
Whilst
Rakta Charithra will revolve around thick set conspiracies, gory assassinations and ugly politics;
Guzaarish
is a heartfelt romantic tale about paraplegic
Hrithik Roshan and the
bond he shares with his attractive nurse, Aishwariya Rai Bachchan.
We'd love to put our money on Bhansali but the blue disaster - also known as Saawariya - is still fresh in our minds. It seems as if we'll have to reserve judgment until November 19th!
