Once upon a time in Mumbai-a blockbuster hit?

Balaji banner's Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, starring Ajay Devgan, Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut and Prachi Desai, is turning out to be a major success at the box office. This Milan Luthuria directiorial venture has managed to get major accolades from audiences and critics across the board!

On the first day, the film managed to collect Rs. 5 Crore, 98 lakhs. The next day, the collection increased and the film earned Rs.7 crore. On Sunday, it managed to touch the whopping amount of Rs. 9 Crore! Apparently, the movie did extremely well in Mumbai with just a little under half of all the collections coming from the city itself.

Overall, the opening weekend marked the success of the film and earned Rs. 22 Crores in Mumbai alone.

It is expected that the film is likely to make a grand total of Rs. 75 Crores worldwide in its overall run. And if it manages to reach the above mentioned amount, the film would definitely be qualified as a "hit".

The budget of the film was Rs. 32 Crores and was produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms.
