The production team of 1-800-Love was thrilled when the British authorities gave them permission to shoot some integral scenes for the movie at the renowned Leicester Square in London from May 11th. However, their permission was revoked when Russell Crowe decided to hold a premiere for his movie Robin Hood at Leicester Square as well.
Producer Abbas Tyrewala tried to explain to the
authorities that they would be done with their shoot long before the
premiere, but the British authorities were apparently unwilling to
co-operate.
Abbas cannot afford to postpone the shoot, because of the inconveniences associated with getting the required visas and work permits for the whole team. As such, he is searching for another location in London that can fulfill his purpose.
There have been obstacles delaying the production and shooting
of this John Abraham starer even before. With this one adding to the
woes, the project sure seems somewhat jinxed. Of course considering
Abbas had prior permission to commence his work compared to Crowe and
co., one sure seems to get vibes of unprofessionalism on the part of
authorities.
Whatever the cause, we sure hope Abbas can find a way around, and hope that the movie wraps up production soon!
