Anyone who traces Bollywood's chocolate boy Shahid Kapoor's Bollywood career from his first appearance as a dancer in Taal to his latest Dil Bole Hadippa
cannot deny his growth as an actor. The actor himself, however,
revealed that his personal growth correlates positively with his
professional growth. Shahid who has portrayed characters belonging to a
vast spectrum calls his journey so far a proud one! Shahid after
receiving a sudden wave of stardom with his first film Ishq Vishq
didn't realize its value back then. He believes that he has learned a
lot from the struggles and troubles he faced after the disastrous fate
of many of his films at the box office after that. He gets quite
emotional when he looks back at the years worth of hard work,
struggles, and inevitable fate of his films that defined his stand in
Bollywood - Hits or Flops.
The actor believes that today he has
reached the point where he knows that kind of projects he wants to be
part of, when he's particular of what kind of cinema he would do and
what he wouldn't do. Shahid is proud that he has made his place in
Bollywood entirely on his own. He has been able to stand up on his own
two feet rather than depending upon his parents for support and
resources. Very hopeful about his future, Shahid claims that he has
found 'a good direction' in his career.
A very successful actor,
yet a very humble person, what more can we ask in a Bollywood Star? We
wish you all the best, Shahid, for Keh Ghosh's Chance Pe Dance and for all future projects!!
