Sighted: Vidya Balan for Kahaani 2 Promotions

After the very successful release of the 2012 thriller Kahaani, Vidya Balan is back to deliver another chilling performance in the second instalment of the movie, Kahaani 2. As the 2nd December release draws near, Balan has busied herself in an aggressive promotional spree, leaving no stone unturned to make sure this film performs equally well at the box office, if not better! BollyCurry brings to you a wrap up of the looks the actress has been sported in. 


Balan shot an episode of The Kapil Sharma Show in her traditional best. Wearing a black and gold Diva'ni shalwar suit, Balan looked stunning. Paired with EDesign jhumkas and Toor sandals, the look extrudes a simplistic old world charm. This one gets a thumbs up!

At Fever FM radio, Balan opted for a colour block Ezra tunic paired with wide legged trousers. The orange, blue and sand coloured tunic wasn't a great choice to begin with and the casual styling did nothing for the overall look. We'd preferred another choice of hair or maybe different bottom wear.

The Mumbai round of promotions saw Balan step out in separates from Zoraya. The teal blue jacket-dress was paired with a white shirt, a chunky layered necklace and a ring from Amrapali. With hair let loose in bouncy waves and minimal natural make up, this made for a smart appearance.

Balan opted to style this Bunglow 8 maroon dress with a statement gold necklace by Purab Paschim. The heavy neck piece added a chic twist to this otherwise simple ensemble. Her hair done in a top knot and black strapped heels made a well balanced look. We approve!

Taking the traditional route once again, Balan stepped out in a red anarkali by Anita Dogre. The gota embroidery on the shirt paired with those jhumkas made for a stellar appearance. Nude pumps and side swept hair completed the look.
