Recently while browsing through the outfits worn by Bollywood celebrities, BollyCurry's Fashion Police came across a curious phenomenon known as "blue". No, we are not talking about the genre of music called Blues or even Monday Blues! We are talking about the color blue which seemed to be worn in spades in the current month. The Fashion Police has handpicked a few celebs that managed to look unique in blue and present it to you for your examination.
Wearing a powder blue
anarkali,
Madhuri Dixit Nene graced an event in the booming Bengali city of Kolkata. The embroidered outfit, designed by Rimple and Harpreet Narula, looked beautiful on Nene however, it was the contrasting gold and turquoise earrings and the hair in a bun that accentuated her already natural beauty. Minimal make-up and red lips were stunning. Our verdict: Excellent!

Sporting another shade of blue was
Kriti Sanon at a recent Diwali function. The outfit was a printed
dhoti hem jumpsuit paired with a dark blue sheer embroidered jacket. Designed by Ritika Manchandani, this might have been a great outfit for many other celebrities but not for Miss. Sanon. It is not as flattering as one would have hoped and the shape swallowed all her curves. if it isn't obvious, the Fashion Police is not happy with the look. Not to mention that open hair was just not the way to go with this outfit. Our verdict: Bad!

Spotted recently at another Diwali Bash was
Athiya Shetty looking gorgeous in her icy blue
lehenga. The silk outfit is designed by Sanjay Garg and the actress paired it with a
potli bag, a large ring, and a
maang tikka. While the Fashion Police approved of her outfit and the accessories, we just wished she had worn the
dupatta in a way that did not hide her svelte body. Our verdict: Good.

Another lady who stole the show at a Diwali party was
Kareena Kapoor Khan. Khan wore a blue
lehenga with gold and red work by Sabyasachi and earrings by Amrapali. With her hair up in a bun and bangles adorning her wrists and rings on her fingers, Khan looked quite beautiful. The only thing Fashion Police disapproves of was her hair which seemed to be made in a hurry and lacked the sophistication the outfit demanded. Something noteworthy was the
sindoor in the
maang. Looks like we have one happily married bride here. Our verdict: Good.

Ranveer Singh is one man who tries every colour in the rainbow and beyond and manages to look dapper in them too. The proof is this dark blue outfit he wore for his promotions of
Bajirao Mastani. Designed by Anju Modi, the military style jacket look seemed to be made just for him and he carried the outfit with pomp. Blue pants, brown shoes and a blue cap added the much needed panache to the outfit. Though we do wish he would do away with the facial hair. We like him better clean shaven. Nonetheless, Fashion Police is happy with him. Our verdict: Excellent.
