It's been quite an eventful week in B-town, what with
various music releases, birthday and anniversary celebrations and film
promotions - whew! Ms. Bolly Chili's getting tired just thinking
about all the trotting about she had to do. But it is for the sake of
fashion, and it's all for you, my darlings, so I shall suffer in
silence.

All
in black at the Lion's Club Andheri's 50th anniversary celebrations was
Sridevi Kapoor, who usually makes jaws drop in awe. This time though I'm sure
jaws were dropping shock. The black Manish Malhotra saree with
white border could have been a great hit, but Ms Hawa Hawa-ii looked
completely washed out with minimal make-up. And the high-neck on the
blouse - chee! Was she attending a party or a funeral? I'll give her points for the small white pearls, but overall, I'm disappointed. BollyCurry Rating: 3/5
Jacqueline
Fernandes was in attendance for the red carpet event to unveil the many
logos and promotional strategies that tie in with the first ever South
Africa India Film and Television Awards. But who cares about that? Not
Ms Bolly Chili! I'm more concerned about the gorgeous lehanga she
wore. The colourful combination of yellow, red and white suited
Jacqueline's complexion. Anand Kabra really knows his stuff. The red
skirt and the white crop top flattered Jacqueline's trim figure. The red
lipstick made her lips pop, and lovely long earrings and on large
chunky ring were the perfect accessories. On the other hand, her hair
was a messy mishap. Still, you've got to give the lady props for
carrying off the look. I'm sure many were left seething with jealousy. I
know Ms Bolly Chili was! BollyCurry Rating: 4/5

Diana
Penty looked slender and slim at the launch of new Tresemme products,
but then again, I'm sure the leggy stunner finds it hard to find
something that would make her look frumpy. The deep red Amit Agarwal
dress was the perfect onset for Diana's skin tone, and the cinch at the
waist emphasised how tiny hers is. Ms. Bolly Chili wants that waist
size. But, I've got to say, Diana looked - awkward. The lack of make-up
was a bad idea, or if it was there, it was not obvious, and it made the
model look frail. The rebonded hair made her face look small. Where's
the beauty I know she has? Why's she hiding it behind her hair? Come on,
Diana, I know you can do better! BollyCurry Rating: 3/5

It
was a mish-mash of casual and formal for Anil Kapoor at the Lion's Club
Andheri's 50th anniversary celebrations. The white shirt, black pants
combination topped with a blue suit coat worked for the handsome hero,
but who matched those black suede shoes with that outfit? Only bad move
for the otherwise tip-top look. Did the fashion-conscious Sonam help
Papa dress for the event? BollyCurry Rating: 3.5/5

Also at the Lion's Club Andheri's 50th anniversary celebrations was Vivek Oberoi, celebrating the bachelor life! Wait, where was
Mrs. Oberoi? Never mind, I could ogle to my heart's content without
having to hide from the wife, so all the better for me. Casual to the
bone, Vivek paired jeans and a printed t-shirt with - get this, I loved
this - red shoes! Not many could pull that off, especially when you
consider his blazer, casually rolled up at the sleeves, was a dark blue
with white piping. No red in sight, other than the prints on his white
tee. But Vivek, dude, hai main mar jawan. He looked hot. BollyCurry Rating: 4/5
You
know what Ms Bolly Chili thinks. It's my job and my duty, a heavy
burden indeed, to share with all of you what I think on how the
celebrities look. But what did you, my lovely loyal readers, think of
their looks at the various happenings this week? Who did what right? Who
looked so good? Who should I crush on next? I mean, who should I
respectfully observe - oh you know what I mean.
Till next time, this is Ms Bolly Chili, signing out!
