Vidya Balan on her MOLESTATION news, reveals the real story

Recently, Vidya Balan had a strange encounter with a fan who misbehaved with her while clicking a picture at the Kolkatta airport.

However, as always the incident was twisted and many media houses portrayed it as a case of "molestation".

But, Vidya has now cleared the air and revealed the real story!

During an interview with a popular daily, Vidya narrated the incident, she said, "It wasn't molestation. I think words like feminism, molestation and sexual harassment are used loosely and that's upsetting. Someone behaved inappropriately (with me), he touched my back when he was taking a selfie and I objected to it. That's what it is. But to grab headlines, to say that I was molested is incorrect," she concluded.

After the incident, Vidya was quoted saying, "When a stranger puts an arm around you, be it a man or a woman you get uncomfortable because they are intruding into your personal space. Wee are public figures, not public property."
