Actor's Wife COMMITS SUICIDE

As per fresh reports, Budding Tamil actor Siddharth Gopinath's wife Smrija committed suicide at their residence in Chennai late last evening by hanging to the ceiling fan of her residence.

The reports further state that Smrija took the extreme step after a heated argument with her husband Siddharth. Currently, the Police officials are investigating the case.

However, it is unclear until now, if it was the fight that provoked Smrija to take her life or if she was battling other issues. Close friend and family members of the couple are being interrogated to find out more details.

"The couple had gone out last night and after coming home, they had an argument over a personal issue. Looks like the argument went serious that led the woman to hung herself to a ceiling fan late in the night, while her husband was asleep in the hall. We got the information only by today morning. The investigations are on," an official was quoted as saying by Behindwoods.

According to various other reports, after fighting Smirja slept in their bedroom while Siddharth slept in the hall. Even after repeated knocks on the door when she didn't respond or open the door, Siddharth broke-opened the door only to find her hanging from the ceiling.
