It's now confirmed that Priyanka Chopra has walked out of Salman Khan's upcoming film 'Bharat' and the reason for her quitting the film is her Wedding to Nick Jonas.

The director of 'Bharat', Ali Abbas Zafar announced the news this morning through his twitter post.

His post read: "Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of @Bharat_TheFilm & and the reason is very very special , she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her ... Team Bharat wishes @priyankachopra loads of love & happiness for life "

While PeeCee has left the film, so the place of the lead actress is now vacant and the team hasn't revealed as to who will be steeping in her shoes.

However, the shooting for the film has already begun. The first schedule includes shooting for a grand circus sequence.

'Bharat' is an official adaptation of a 2014 South Korean film "Ode To My Father". It is produced by Atul Agnihotri's Reel Life Production Pvt Ltd and Bhushan Kumar's T-Series.

The film which will be shot across locations in Abu Dhabi and Spain, besides Punjab and Delhi, is slated for an Eid release in 2019.
