Sonam Kapoor to cast THIS ACTRESS in her Directorial Debut

Sonam Kapoor apart from being an actress is currently Bollywood's only fashionista. Kapoor has also ventured as a businesswoman with her own brand Rheson. After a successful stint as an actor, Sonam Kapoor is all set to don the director's hat.

Sonam had often been vocal about her interest in directing. She also revealed how because of exciting offers she has not been able to try the director way. But, in her recent interview to Mid-Day, the actress confirmed that she is working on her first project as a director. Sonam said that she is developing an idea that she has been toying with since quite some time.

About the casting, Sonam revealed how she is keen to cast close friend Swara Bhaskar for the role. She revealed, "I have a couple of stories written for Swara. As colleagues, we interact a lot, and so, it's easy for me to envision her in different roles. I am sure whenever the project rolls, it will turn out to be an amazing association. There are so many actors who leave me awestruck with their talents".

Responding to this offer, Swara Bhaskar stated about her excitement, "Sonam will make for a great director because she has some amazing ideas, besides having a great vision. I am looking forward to the day when she starts the project. She is one of my favorite people in the world. We have a great working relationship".
