When you talk about Kangana Ranaut, an image of a phenomenal and importantly an outspoken actress's face comes in our minds. Known for her blunt attitude, Ranaut does not step back from speaking her heart out and totally doesn't mince her words.
Whether it is about openly speaking on her struggling days or the unfair treatment that she has received in Bollywood, Kangana has often made headlines for her rather alarming statements. A few days back she spoke about how she had to fight to receive her pay in Bollywood and this time around the leading ladies of Bollywood are at the receiving end of Kangana's curt statements.
In an interview to Bombay Times, Kangana revealed the reason behind not doing item numbers wherein fact the leading ladies of Bollywood like Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone have given popular chart numbers by doing an item number. Ranaut expressed, "Well I don't do item numbers because there is nothing to be done in them. They are they are obscene, they are at times unfair, most of them are sexist. What is there to be done in them? I personally feel they should be banned".
She further pointed, "I can't be a part of something which is so toxic to us, our society, our children. If tomorrow, you have a daughter, I have a daughter, would I want her to be called those names, objectified like that? I mean, there are children out there, we need to take responsibility for them".
Didn't she take a sly dig at the heroines who have starred in item numbers, if you ask us, she certainly did. What are your views on Kangana's this statement? Tell us in the comment section below.
