Disha Patani who has made a decent mark in Bollywood and is a familiar face in the industry, recently in an interview spoke about her struggling days. The actress who's recently released film 'Baaghi 2' is performing exceptionally well at the box office, Patani too is content with her act in this film.
Disha has an immense fan-following amongst the audience and there came a time when she was titled as the 'National Crush of India'. But, before all this fame, Disha too had to struggle to become somebody from nobody.
Talking about the same to Hindustan Times, Patani expressed, "I'm a very positive person. Maybe I was not prepared [at that time]. Also, I left my studies and I came to Mumbai. For a college girl to come to a new city not knowing anyone wasn't easy. I was living alone, making my own money and never asked my family [for money]".
"I came to Mumbai with 500 and after a point, I didn't have any money. I used to go for a lot of auditions, mostly for TV commercials, as there was this constant pressure on me that if I don't get a job this month, how I will pay my rent. Everything I did was a job until I started to enjoy acting", the actress concluded.
Disha's last film Baaghi 2 had a great weekend in terms of collection and has minted a whopping amount of 72.10 crores. In this film, Patani plays the character of Neha Salgaonkar, who awaits to catch-hold the goons who kidnapped her 3-year-old daughter. This film also stars Tiger Shroff in the lead role.
