Shahid Kapoor to romance Aishwarya Rai on screen?

We all remember the 1964 classic Woh Kaun Thi? as one of the best psychological mystery movies that captivated us with its crisp storyline and stellar performances by Sadhana, Manoj Kumar and Prem Chopra. The movie was directed by Raj Khosla and the story was written by Dhruva Chatterjee.

Now it looks like the makers of movies like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and PadMan will be making the remake of Woh Kaun Thi and it looks like they have a stellar star cast in mind as well. Any guesses?

While rumours are rife that Shahid Kapoor may play Manoj's part, Sadhana's character may come to life through Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

A source revealed to us, "The psychological thriller starring Sadhana and Manoj Kumar is celebrated to this day for its remarkable songs composed by Madan Mohan. The film will pay tribute to both Manoj Kumar and Sadhana and who better than the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to step into the ethereal Sadhana's shoes. Sadhana's screen presence combined with her captivating face was a huge crowd puller for the film. The makers are extremely keen to have Aishwarya who is considered the epitome of beauty to essay the role. She fit the bill perfectly as not only does she has undeniable screen presence and expressive eyes but is also immensely talented."
