Amitabh Bachchan shares a story of his painful days...

It was a story of seven brothers living in a large farmhouse. The movie shows the life of the brothers who grew up under the leadership of their oldest brother Ravi (Amitabh Bachchan). Being orphans and uneducated, all seven brothers are unsophisticated bumpkins who lack in social etiquette and hygiene. To portray his unhygienic character and at the same time to rule the family Bachchan had to wear the lenses that were made and painted on the glass lens.

While these days, lenses that are sold are soft that are comfortable to many but, due to the lack of research and technology actors had to wear the lens made of glass. Well, in the film the superstar was known for his great work but, nobody knows what the actor had to go through while wearing such glass lens.

He remembers those time of shooting for the film shares the picture of wearing those lens in the film and writes, "T 2589 - 36 YEARS of my film 'SATTE pe SATTA' .. !! the contact lenses for BABU character were made and painted on glass lens, unlike the soft tissue ones today ..hurt like mad, when put on could not last for more than a few minutes .. used anaesthetic drops to bear pain !"
