Kajol's BEEF lunch Controversy, Actress released an OFFICIAL statement

Recently, Kajol posted a video of her friend's restaurant where she is seen having a dish made of beef.

Soon after she posted her video, it went viral and received flak from the audience for consuming beef.

However, the actress has now released an official statement clarifying that the beef dish in the video was not cow meat but it was buffalo meat.

Her statement reads: "A video of me at a friend's lunch said that there was a beef dish at the table. That's a miscommunication. What was shown was buffalo meat, that is a legally available meat. I'm issuing this clarification because this is a sensitive matter that may hurt religious sentiments, which is not my intention."

Kajol has now deleted the video.
