Shilpa Shetty releases an Official Statement

Shilpa Shetty and Shamita Shetty's father Mr. Surendra Shetty passed away yesterday morning following a cardiac arrest. The family was in deep shock but amidst that they took care of their dear ones and gave out an official statement confirming the news. The family has also requested everyone to respect their privacy at this crucial moment.

Her statement reads:

"We are deeply saddened to confirm the the passing away of Surendra Shetty husband of Sunanda Shetty and loving father to Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Shamita Shetty. The Shetty family announced with much sorrow that he took his last breath at home today. We request your cooperation and support to respect the family's privacy at this crucial time."

"To seek the last blessing of our beloved Father Mr. Surendra Shetty, we will all assemble at 9.30 am at our residence. The cremation will take place at 10.30 at Juhu pavan Hans . With Gratitude, the Shetty and Kundra Family."

We pray for his departed soul to rest in peace and may the Lord grant enough courage to the family to bear the loss.
