Release date of Ranveer-Deepika's Padmavati, to be pushed to 2018?

Sanjay Leela Bhasali wouldn't be a happy man. Ever since he announced his ambitious project, Padmavati, trouble seems to have made a permanent home with SLB.

The latest trouble is that, there are talks that the film will release in December 2018 instead of December 2017. The reason for this development is said to be Sanjay's habit for attention to detail. Owing to which the shoot of the movie may not finish by next year.

But Bhansali has taken bulk dates from Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor for the film. Contrary to the news a source was quoted saying to a leading daily, "This is highly improbable. The film will release next year. How can Deepika not have a release in 2017? This is all speculation."

There have been reports that state Bhansali has planned to take Padmavati to the Cannes Film Festival in 2017.
