Alia Bhatt to feature in the Hindi remake of Hemlock Society!

Alia Bhatt who made her debut in Bollwyood with the film 'Student of the year' has left the audience spell bound with her splendid acting skills and personality. The actress who was recently spotted partying in Goa along with Siddharth Malhotra seems to have bagged a new project.

According to report in a leading daily, director Srijit Mukherjee is planning for a Hindi remake of his Bengali film 'Hemlock Society'.

He wants to cast Alia in the Hindi version of the film. Srijit is quoted in the report saying, "Yes, I've spoken to Mahesh Bhatt saab about a Hindi version of Hemlock Society. I think Alia would be ideal for the role that Koel Mallick did in the original".[sic]

The film is based on a girl who learns different methods to commit suicide from a man who trains suicide aspirants. Though the story plot of the film is on a serious topic, it's a blend of laughter and humor as well.

Alia is currently shooting for Gauri Shinde's upcoming film along with Shah Rukh Khan.
