Deepika reacts to Shah Rukh Khan's statement!

Recently, at Dilwale's press conference Shah Rukh said that audience are going to watch both the films but he also interestingly said that 'Bajirao Mastani' is niche in its genre.

So when at a recent interview we asked Deepika does she agree with what King Khan says, here's what she said, "I'll agree with the first part of his comment that the audiences will take time to watch both the films. Because I am 100% sure that I will watch both the films as an audience and while on one hand you know one is trying to create controversy about the fact that two films are releasing at the same time but I am someone who looks at it the other way and says 'wow' for me as an audience I get to watch two films that are so unique, very different kinds of film.

Adding further she said, "No, I wouldn't call it niche at all. In fact, I think one of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's strength is that in a film like 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam', or a film like 'Devdas' or a film like 'Ram Leela, Black; he has his way of storytelling but still makes it globally appealing and I don't know what he means when he says niche, I don't know what he meant. But, what I can definitely say is that they are very different kinds of films. I worked with both directors and I know that what both of them have to offer are very different. So even as an audience when you watch both you won't be able to compare both the two because you can't, it's different. That's like comedy, action, romance and this is different you know a different kind of film."

'Bajirao Mastani' starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra is all set to clash at the silver screens with Shah Rukh Khan- Kajol starrer 'Dilwale' on 18.12.2015.
