First look of Akshay Kumar Starrer Airlift!

Bollywood's action hero Akshay Kumar will be seen in his next titled 'Airlift', a film based on true events.

Akshay Kumar took on twitter to share the first look of the film! Here's what he tweeted:

The story depicts true events occurred during the Gulf war. The posters itself gives the summary of the whole story, '1,70,000 refugees, 488 flights, 59 days and 1 man'. It is about the events took place in 1990 during Kuwait - Iraq war, where India successfully evacuated lakhs of Indians from Kuwait by airlifting them on chartered flights; it was the largest human evacuation in history!

From the poster it surely looks that we will be having a great movie to watch in first month of 2016! The teaser trailer will be out tomorrow.

Airlift is directed by Raja Krishna Menon, stars Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur in lead roles, and is scheduled for release on 22 January 2016.
