'Kajarya' receives NGO support!

Kajarya is a movie that addresses the poignant issue of female foeticide in our country. The film shot in Haryana, follows the life of two women from different backgrounds who lives intertwine as the story explores the condition of women both in rural and urban India through a unique perspective. 

The movie has received tremendous reviews worldwide that even Eve Ensler has come ahead to support the movie.

Such is the strong message of the film that 21 NGOs have associated with it to take the cause forward and fight for it. It's a first for any movie and also heart warming to see how several organisations have come forward and are lending their support to fight the cause.

Some of the NGOs that are associated are One Billion Rising, Sangat, Jagori, Actionaid, Girls Count, Oxfam and several others.
