Chandigarh, Sep 5 (IANS) Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Chak De! India' will now enjoy an exemption on entertainment duty for two weeks across theatres in Haryana following an order by Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda Wednesday.
The chief minister and some of his ministerial colleagues had watched the blockbuster at a local multiplex here last week.
The film has been exempted from the liability of paying entertainment duty under the Punjab Entertainment Duty Act.
However, the Haryana excise department made it clear that the duty exemption will have no effect on past collections from the movie. No refund will be made, they said.
