Different shades of Farhan Akhtar!

The sweet, innocent, guy-next-door Farhan Akhtar is attributed with many talents. He has proven through many of his super hits that he's a great mastermind! Here are some of the many talents Farhan Akhtar has:

Dynamic Director

Farhan began his journey in Bollywood with direction, and was an assistant to Yash Chopra in his film Lamhe, at a tender age of 17! He then proceeded to make his directorial debut with the coming-of-age film Dil Chahta Hai. Although it didn't fare well at the box office, it became a classic youth symbol for many! After a low period in Bollywood, he emerged high with his super hit Don and Don 2.

Ace Actor

After about a decade in film direction, he made his acting debut in the 2008 film Rock On! , which was also his singing debut and which received appreciation from the critics and the audience as well. His next film was the hugely successful Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, which also had a song sung by him.

Sensational Singer

As we mentioned above, Farhan had already proved his skill in acting as well as singing. He has given us many groovy tracks, and has also started a band called "Farhan Live", in which he's the lead singer.

 

Talented Writer

Being the son of a great screenwriter has its perks, and Farhan surely has inherited his father's talents! Apart from being a talented poet, he's a great scriptwriter and lyricist, so much so that his movie Dil Chahta Hai, which was written by him, won him the Filmfare Award for Best Screenplay!

Farhan Akhtar is widely loved and adored for his comic timing, and when he was the host at IIFA Awards in 2014 alongside Shahid Kapoor, he had the audience thoroughly entertained, leaving them in splits!

Farhan Akhtar's brilliant performances are not only a result of his immense talent, but also his innate desire to give perfect results. For his role in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, he had a strict diet and intense workout regime for two years! The excellent results are for everyone to see and appreciate. What's more, his efforts paid off so well that he won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor.

Farhan Akhtar has entertained us with many films, and has proven that he's so talented that he can create an entire film single handed! His upcoming film Dil Dhadakne Do has him singing along with Priyanka Chopra, alongside acting! So you can expect a lot of fun from this flick!
