Shashi Kapoor to receive Dadasaheb Phalke Award

Veteran film actor Shashi Kapoor will be conferred the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for the year 2014, authorities said on Monday.

Kapoor, who turned 77 earlier this month, is the 46th winner of the prestigious award, which is given out to honour outstanding contribution to the growth and development of Indian cinema.
