Filmmaker Karan Johar says amongst his rare starstruck moments in life was his chance meeting with American actress Meryl Streep, who just won her third Oscar award for "The Iron Lady".

"I remember being in the same room as Meryl Streep at the Golden Globes in 2009... my only starstruck moment ever," Johar wrote on Twitter.

On Sunday night in Los Angeles, Streep won the best actress award for reprising former British prime minister Margaret Thatcher in "The Iron Lady". Earlier she won golden statuettes for best supporting actress for "Kramer vs. Kramer" and the best actress award for "Sophie's Choice".

"Am thrilled to bits that Meryl Streep won!!!! She for me is the best thing celluloid has ever witnessed," added Johar.

Kulraj enjoyed Hollywood classics during '...Chandni' shoot

Actress Kulraj Randhawa made good use of her free time while shooting "Chaar Din Ki Chandni" in Rajasthan - she caught up on Hollywood classics available in the library of their hotel.

"The library was amazing and had a really good collection of classic Hollywood films. I got to see many films like 'Godfather', 'Gone With the Wind', 'Wuthering Heights' and 'It's A Wonderful Life' all over again after my shoots," said Kulraj who started her career on the small screen with the comedy show "Kareena Kareena".

Her first big screen project was "Yamla Pagla Deewana". In "Chaar Din Ki Chandni", she will be seen opposite Tusshar Kapoor. The film, directed by Samir Karnik, releases March 8.

Rajniesh's chocolicious deed!

Rajniesh Duggal loves chocolates, and his heart melted when he saw a group of underprivileged children counting coins to purchase sweets.

The model-turned-actor was at a local supermarket where he was shopping for some household provisions. When he stood at the payment counter, he noticed the needy kids, struggling to count change to buy a chocolate for themselves, and ended up buying a box of chocolates for them.

"Without thinking twice, Rajniesh purchased a big box of chocolates and handed it over to the group of kids. His sweet gesture brought instant happiness on the face of the kids, who obviously could not hide their excitement," said an onlooker.

Rajniesh will next be seen in Vikram Bhatt's "Dangerous Ishq", opposite Karisma Kapoor.
