Sooraj Pancholi and
Isabelle Kaif will soon share screen space in Stanley D'Costa's next titled Time to Dance. The film which is being produced by Remo D'souza is expected to release sometime around mid-2019. But before that, there were reports that Sooraj will be rapping in the film.
We confirmed the same from our sources. "Yes, it's true. Sooraj has been taking rap lessons from a professional and trying to perfect his act. It's a romantic number that will be filmed around the first week of February. Although this film won't make it to the plotline, it will be used as a promotional track."
There will be as many as eight songs and the duo will showcase around 14-15 different dance forms in the same. Now, which song will Sooraj rap to? "It's a Diljit Dosanjh track, titled Do You Know. The song became wildly famous upon its release and when the makers were scouting for a popular track to go for the film and the vibe, they locked this one."
It was Sooraj who suggested Do You Know to the producers. "It's got a good groovy feel to it, despite being a love track. Which is why Sooraj felt it would suit their requirements. There's no rapping in the original but Sooraj's rap will be an added highlight in the recreated version."
Currently, Sooraj is in Kerala shooting for the final schedule of Satellite Shankar and will be back to the city in the last week of January. First, they will record his rap in a music studio and then, they will film it next month.
