Confirmed: THIS actor is finalized for the Pati, Patni aur Woh remake

Last year, it was announced that BR Productions will be making a remake of their hit classic Pati Patni Aur Woh. The team plans to make it keeping the modern society on their mind. They wanted a young, fresh team as the lead cast. 

Guess what? They have locked the male lead already. Who's it? It's Kartik Aaryan! Kartik who rose to superstardom last year with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety became a household name and has been a top draw among all leading filmmakers. The actor could also be seen hanging out with producer Juno Chopra for the last few weeks but nobody still got a hint of the collaboration. 

He already has signed Imtiaz Ali's next project and this will be his third film hitting screens this year, after Love Aaj Kal 2 and Luka Chuppi. The young lad is on his way to becoming one of the best the generation has got. He will be stepping into the shoes of Sanjeev Kumar. What needs to be seen now, is who plays Vidya Sinha and Ranjeeta's role in the remake.

Just like the Ittefaq remake, the producers have planned to give this film a new twist. While the idea from the original remains the same, not only is the treatment different but the movie will have an altogether hatke ending, which will be completely unexpected. Apart from Kartik, talks are on with two other young actresses - one to play the wife and the other for the secretary's role. Watch this space to find out who it will be...
