Priyanka's FIL Paul Jonas's HEART-WARMING act for her at the WEDDING

Priyanka Chopra, the global icon, is a married woman now and the lucky man is American singer/actor Nick Jonas. Their chemistry is sparkling and loved by both the Bollywood and Hollywood industry as a whole. Their wedding ceremony is going on in full swing at the royal Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur currently and yesterday was the day when the two exchanged vows as per Christain customs.

As reported earlier, Nick's father Paul Kevin Jonas Sr was the one who will officiate the ceremony and he did so yesterday. Priyanka was dressed in a custom-made Ralph Lauren ensemble while groom Nick Jonas too donned a tuxedo by the same designer. Expressing his honour to dress the couple for their wedding day, Ralph Lauren tweeted:

Now, as we know Priyanka Chopra's father Ashok Chopra lost his life to Cancer a few years ago and now Nick's dad Paul stepped in to perform the fatherly duties for bride Priyanka. In the Christian ceremony, the bride walks hand-in-hand with her father at the altar and he is the one who gives his precious daughter to the groom. All this ceremony was done by Nick's dad.

A report in DNA revealed, "In the absence of Priyanka's late father, Ashok Chopra, Nick's father stepped forward and made sure he performed PeeCee's dad duties to hand over Priyanka's hand to his son".

This for sure must have been an emotional and difficult moment for the actress as she was known to be pretty close to her late father. Her Daddy's Lil Princess tattoo on her hand serves enough as a proof of her love for him.

Further about the wedding, all the guests at the ceremony had worn Ralph Lauren creations for the Catholic ceremony. Mom Madhu Chopra, Brother Siddharth Chopra and cousin Parineeti Chopra had penned down a heart-warming speech for the bride which made her emotional.
