Plot
The film is inspired by a real-life heist on March 19, 1987 where a group posing as CBI officers executed an income tax raid.
The film opens on the date March 18, 1987 where a walk-in CBI interview is taking place, held by the characters of Ajay (Akshay Kumar) and Sharma (Anupam Kher). The film then goes into flashback.
