New Delhi, Nov 15 (IANS) Choreographer Sandip Soparrkar and his model wife Jessy Randhawa have joined hands with NGO, Childreach International India, to create awareness on issues plaguing under-privileged children and their families across the country.

Sandip, who himself adopted a child three years back, says it's high time people realise the importance of affection.

'The move of doing my bit to bring up the under-privileged pushed me the most to get associated with it. The feeling of affection and care is what it takes to bring a smile and change somebody's life, which is what I feel is the need of the hour to make a difference to the world,' Sandip told IANS.

'We worry about what a child will become tomorrow and hence we forget that he is someone today,' he added.

'It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men. I support and promote Childreach International as they invest in building stronger children by unlocking their full potential,' Jesse said in a statement.

Childreach International supports child welfare programmes to help create awareness on the deprivations faced by children around India. It works to unlock the potential of underprivileged children in developing and underdeveloped countries, where the incidence of poverty, malnutrition, child mortality and poor health is high.
