on my Jaya Bachchan.

Recently, Ashutosh Gowariker had raised questions over the choice of Best Actress award being given to Priyanka Chopra for 'Fashion' instead of Aishwarya Rai for 'Jodhaa Akbar' on the IIFA stage.

Jaya Bachchan has spoken out in the media that it was her opinion to raise the question of 'Why Aishwarya has not received any award?' on the IIFA stage and had prompted Ashutosh Gowariker to bring open their unhappiness.

Interestingly, Jaya Bachchan has not seen the movie 'Fashion' and hence has no clue about Priyanka's performance in the movie.

We wonder how she was able to reach the conclusion that her bahu was better in the performance tha Piggy Chops without revieweing it herself??

Or was it just a case of sasu-ma supporting bahu darling and not a critic judgement? Either way, we find this behaviour highly immature and biased.

The award should go to the deserving one without any bias but I believe there is some sort of bias in nominations....yeah no wonder why Amir doesn't attend award functions and Sunny never gets award while SRK always gets something..if not for his movie, they come up with some new category to make sure he gets one.
Both Ash & Priyanka are good actresses, though.

Ash got best actess of the decade at IIFA, i wondered how she achieved that feat...she had no hit movies during the last decade. the Bachans rule IIFA and her mother in law felt Ash should get an award at IIFA...even if they had to make up one......no wonder Aamir thinks award functions are a joke. she is a joke here in the west. the critics have ripped her to shreds. Freida Pinto received better reviews.

they both are good actors.. aish is not beauty without brains otherwise hollywood is not that stupid to take her.. she has proved herself with many projects and public is not stupid to make them hits... this is not the controversy of aish's acting skills but who deserved better this time. some rude comments are not very nice to read..
