Sonam calls Aish Aunty Ji !!!

Well, well, well, Sonam Kapoor and Aishwariya Rai Bachchan are creating ripples again! Recently, it was reported that the two gorgeous ladies have finally reached to a peaceful end of their 'fights,' and both are making an effort of getting along with each other. Our lovely Masakali and the ethereal beauty were spotted nicely conversing with each other at Karan Johar's birthday bash last month.

However, now Sonam has given Aishwarya another reason to be angry. Sonam expressed her views about Aishwarya by refering to her as Aish Aunty ji . The reason is because Aishwarya has worked with her dad in several movies. Apparently, that's how she refers to Aish amidst chatting with her friends.

Sonam's previous comment stating that Aish is part of an older generation was a cause of bitter feelings between the two actors, and the battle got stretched to the red carpet at Cannes. This time, Sonam has been way more blunt and actually called the beauty queen Aunty!

We don't know how Aish is going to receive this, but if Sonam not considering her a part of her young generation angered Aish, we can only imagine how much more trouble this comment is going to create!

Now do we advice Aish to take it with a pinch of salt!

i think, wid just few movies in her career, Sonam is going too fast in playing the Pride-filled Diva
and even if Ash is an aunty, there is no point in calling her that, unless u wanna attract attention

whatever the age of another co actor is,but it is impolite to call aunty for sure, as aish is not related to sonam .... i am preety sure sonam would love to be called aunty when she is 35

exactly ashi .. totally agree with you.... she did not even look older working with hrithik . it is very rude comment by sonam and that is the fact . sonam is good looking, talented and very natural actor. she should not use thease tactics .. i hope she gets some sense...

This is wierd, why should she play mommy roles and tht too to guys of Imran's age? Do you see any of the leading actors playing dads to Ranbir or Imraan?

Especially when shes still working with actors younger than her like Hrithik ?

And im sorry but stating that a 35 yr old woman is like an aunty to a 24 yr old is not a fact , its merely an opinion and that too a biased one.

nirupa roy was extremely talented and beutiful woman who worked as lead actress and when time came as mom. to compare ash with her would be nice if it was for acting part not because she is 35 or so .. she is still doing better than some 20 yr olds for sure. i don't think in our culture also to call someone aunty just because u have 12 yr difference should be accepted unless it's actual relation shiip . even 16 year old would be mausi or bua and that;s not because of age...2009-06-11 15:48:47
