Billo Barber - Who's In? Who's Out?

Billo Barber, produced by Red Chilies Entertainment and directed by Priyadarshan has been going through constant shuffling of its star cast. Originally, the Singh is King fame, Akshay Kumar was considered for the role of the big movie star. However, this story of Billo Barber did not interest Kumar so the role went to Priyadarshan's second choice, Shah Rukh Khan. Now not only is SRK a part of the film but he is also producing it.

But that's not where the reshuffling ends. The role of Billo's wife has also been in the news. Many actresses like Tabu, Amisha Patel, Juhi Chawla were approached for this role but due to dates issues or personal dislikes, the character finally went to former Miss. Universe, Lara Dutta. Must say though that Lara is looking perfect a simpleton villager's wife in the promos and one is surprised at the ease with which Lara has slipped into the character.

Paresh Rawal was also approached for a part in Billo Barber but Rawal simply refused it because according to him the character was inconsequential and small. Finally it is the man himself- Irrfan Khan who is playing the main lead in this exciting venture and we hear that Priyanka Chopra">Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone will also be seen doing an item song in the movie.

After so many exits and entries we wonder whether the star cast and the script will be strong enough to pull crowds into the theaters. As the countdown to Valentines Day begins share with us your feedback on the film and whether you are looking forward to Billo Barber...
