As we ring in a new month, along with new festivals, only one thing remains constant: same happiness! October is here, and so are various reasons to celebrate. While Indians everywhere are celebrating various commemorations, a few celebrities have something more in their kitty to enjoy, that is, their birthdays! So let's have a look at a few stars who are all set to celebrate their big days this month.

Born on 10th October, Rekha is a noted and versatile Indian film actress acting in 180 movies over the span of a career of 40 years. She started her career with Tollywood, and made her debut in Bollywood with Anjana Safar, but it didn't see the light until 1979. Her movie, Sawan Bhadon (1970), is considered her debut movie. She later went on to do various movies over the years like Raampur Ka Lakshman (1972), Khubsoorat (1980) and Silsila (1984), amongst others.

 

Next in line to celebrate their big days are Amitabh Bachchan and Ronit Roy. Both are celebrating on the 11th of October. Fondly known as Big B, Bachchan started his career with Saat Hindustani (1969), but it was Anand (1970) that brought him stardom. He went on to give various hits like Zanjeer (1973), Sholay (1975), Amar Akbar Anthony (1977), Don (1978), Baghban (2003), and Pink (2016). Ronit Roy is fondly known as the Big B of Indian Television. He has starred in various television shows and critically acclaimed movies like Luck by Chance (2009), Udaan (2010), and Pankh (2010). He will be seen in the upcoming movie Kaabil releasing in 2017.

 

Bollywood's dream girl, Hema Malini, celebrates her birthday on 16th October. Malini debuted in Bollywood with Sapnon Ka Saudagar in 1968. She starred in various movies over the years like Johny Mera Naam (1970), Seeta Aur Geeta (1972), Sholay (1975), Baghban (2003), and many more.

 

Next to blow out the candles is Parineeti Chopra on 22nd October. She made her debut in 2011 with Ladies vs Ricky Bahl followed by Ishaqzaade which earned her National Film Award and Filmfare Award for Best Actress. She went on to do various movies like Shuddh Desi Romance (2013), Hasee Toh Phasee (2014), and Daawat-e-Ishq (2014). She will soon be seen in Meri Pyaari Bindu (2017).

 

Aditi Rao Hydari celebrates her birthday on 28th October. Hydari made her debut in the 2011 romantic film Yeh Saali Zindagi, a role that bagged her Screen Awards Best Supporting Actress. She subsequently starred in several movies like Rockstar (2011), Murder 3 (2013), Khoobsurat (2014), Wazir (2016) and Fitoor (2016).
